The Pear Tree Cabinet.

A collaboration between me and the carpenter Örjan Wennbom where Örjan commissioned a design for his journeymans peice.

The brief was a furniture piece that pays homage to the swedish forest through its expressive marquetry. With inspiration from stained glass windows The Pear Tree Cabinet tells the story of the material that makes the cabinet, the peartree, throughout the seasons.
